I started going to the Haven Wellbeing Hub about a year ago and I am so thankful that I discovered Katie and Haven Wellbeing Hub. I wasn’t happy with certain aspects of my life and felt I was in a vicious circle. I wanted to get fit, eat healthier, and not drink so much alcohol. I would manage to be good for a few weeks then I would ‘fall off the wagon’ and then spend weeks berating myself for being, in my opinion, so useless. My job was stressful at times and I would suffer with anxiety. I saw that Haven Wellbeing Hub did Wellbeing Therapy and Hypnotherapy and having read more about it I decided to book in some sessions. This is where I met the lovely Katie. From the first session I found her warm, approachable and caring. I couldn’t help but open up and tell her my worries and disappointments. Through the course of the treatments Katie taught me how to think differently and showed me how everything can be enjoyed in moderation and not to be so hard on myself if I ‘over indulge’ at times. My mindset is now completely different and I am so much calmer as a person. If life gets a bit crazy or I can feel I’m starting to berate myself or have negative thoughts I just book in for a Hypnotherapy session with Katie and it puts me back on track. I have also tried a wide range of other treatments and classes - Massages, Reiki, Reflexology, Mediation and Bowen Therapy. All treatments have been amazing and you can’t help but book in for other treatments. I only tried yoga for the first time when I found Haven and it’s now a big part of my life and I regularly attend classes 2-3 times a week. Annie and Sophie are fantastic instructors and their classes will cater for you whether you’re a beginner or a regular. Katie and her colleagues at Haven are just wonderful and whenever I leave after a treatment or class I feel so much happier, positive and relaxed. I can’t recommend the Haven Wellbeing Hub and especially Katie enough.
