Many interesting artifacts and knowledgeable volunteers. A must place to visit when in the area. Limited open hours, but can call ahead for appointment to visit .

Hi, I'm watching the SciFi channel and there is going to be a show called Ghost Mine, wouldn't it be fascinating if they came to our area as I'm sure there is much history and we live in a wonderfully historic and ethnically diverse area as people came from all over Europe to work these mines.
