My family had a traumatic experience experience with this practice that left us in worse shape, the therapist was arrogant controlling and un-empathic. She used threats and coercion to try to manage my child’s behavior and abruptly ceased care because we wanted time to consider a (minor) suggestion, which she took offense to. She ceased care right after my child had been diagnosed with a significant issue and left us without care. The practice was of no help, and duty of care is not something that they take seriously. I implore anyone who is looking for a therapist to stay far away from this practice and Shirley Sharma completely.

Extremely disappointing experiences. Constant miscommunication, files going "missing" or not uploaded despite emails confirming. Half of my sessions here have been spent chasing up reports and letters I sent to reception months ago, which means constantly rehashing information and appointments going no where. It takes no effort to save a copy of an email and attach it to the file for the doctor. The doctors are great but they're unsupported by an unprofessional business, who don't value the time of their clients.
Dr Chung is the least professional doctor I have ever had the misfortune to see. How he is still practicing and not the target of multiple malpractice cases is beyond me.
Highly recommend dr. Grama and the admin has been very helpful and prompt in communication.
Horrible experience at Braidwood therapist’s. Dr X was judgemental and dismissive. Do not come too this practice if you suffer from serious mental health problems or are in a state of distress. Dr X has no interest in listening to your concern’s, simply told to ‘snap out of it’ Way too go making mental health patients feel good about themselves!!!! Reception staff are rude & unsupportive. Perhaps the owner of this practice should take note of the lengthy list of negative reviews posted here & review the practicing Doctor’s practicing guidelines. Best advice: STAY AWAY!!!!
I saw a psychiatrist here approximately 2 months ago as referred by my GP. It was a telehealth consultation to which the psychiatrist was late, had not set up a zoom invite in advance and sat outside with dogs barking throughout the whole consult. The doctor was immediately dismissive of my problems, didn't engage well and made me uncomfortable. I think she said "That's sad isn't it" about 15 times during the consult which was completely unhelpful. I left the appointment feeling worse about things than when I started. Despite calling the practice multiple times in the weeks following to follow up my report and being told it was there to be typed and would be provided to my GP shortly, two months later it still hasn't been completed. When I called to discuss this failure with the receptionist I was told that they had 8 doctors reports to type and there was only two of them to do it and they weren't there all the time which is a completely unacceptable excuse.
The psychiatrist I saw was very quick to make a diagnosis and seemed to have very poor listening skills. He asked the same questions over and over again. He had poor knowledge of LGBTIQ issues. Demonstrated a distinct lack of care and compassion. He is a behaviourist and does not seem to have skills outside this pretty narrow view of psychological processes. Unless you like being bossed around by a supremely arrogant and bossy man do not waste your time and money.
My psychiatrist was inappropriate, egotistical, unprofessional, non empathetic. More concerned with being right then listening to me. Laden with bias and judgement values. Retraumatising. Do not go here.
