Good food. Some tables are behind a window so as you are enjoying the food you can watch the rush of people going about their business in the common walkway in the South Shore Plaza, a nice show of people watching. The food is good and tasty.

I really enjoyed their sandwich making Department. I was hesitant on getting a black bean burger from here at first but when I received it and tasted it it was very well cooked. This product is definitely something that I would buy over and over again.

I wanted a salad and don’t eat cheese. They refused to make me a salad because there were premade salads. I didn’t realize that would be an issue at a salad, soup, and sandwich place.

Expansive pastries but it's worth it, can't find the flavors and where else.

This Au Bon Pain at South Shore Plaza is well kept, but a very old location. Staff just alright, but nothing grand... I love all of there things and would love to try more options! I would recommend their Ham and Cheese Croissant! Average place, but with great meals!

The food was good, but the staff was horrible. Not all of them though. I would say my cashier I had was absolutely rude. Ordering there was absolutely stressing and so much pressure was put on me. I don't believe I would eat there again. I didn't feel welcomed or comfortable at all. And it really sucks because I enjoyed the food. 2 stars.

Unfortunately, this particular location is horrible in terms of customer service. However, I absolutely love Au Bon Pains' almond crossaints. In addition, they aren't very punctual. I live up the street from this particular location and they never ever open on time. The kicker is they have the nerve to have an attitude when something is said. Therefore, I have purposely contacted the mall management office because I wasn't able to reach anyone in their corporate office. As a result the management office sent security over. Your probably asking yourself, ''Why?". Let me explain these companies sign leasing agreements and in their agreement it clearly states what time they have to open (unless another time is negotiated) and they have to post their hours of business on the door. Henceforth, they are always in violation of their mall lease and Massachusetts laws. You can't post one set of hours and make up your own hours. Lastly but not least, there is a ring leader and I hope like hell she is not a supervisor. She has dark semi curly hair and she wears the top part gathered together behind her head. She is NASTY, PERIOD. The downfall is they have her ringing the register.

This just a generic shop. Nothing really stands out one way or another. No exceedingly bad things and no exceedingly good things. Probably the best demonstration of the word 'average'
