On Deck Sports has a great concept but the execution and follow through is below average. We hired them to build our a dream come true facility for our new start up company featuring girls softball and we did not receive the service expected given their price point. Large deliveries of turf (800 lbs) showed up unexpectedly, wall padding came with no hardware and no heads up from the sales rep that we should anticipate that. The Sales people and Operations staff seem disconnected, they had us measuring walls multiple times, sending pics of the space multiple times and it was hard to get them to actually answer simple questions. We had to negotiate the installation date for months, they would not commit citing they had flexible dates in mind. As a small business owner you have to open the doors and start earning back your upfront investment, ODS didn’t seem to care much about that detail, that’s why I have given them 2 stars.

I honestly never do this. EVER. But Ive also never been more upset with a company than I am with On Deck Sports. I purchased and had turf installed in my soccer facility. Within months, there were large creases in between the individual rolls of turf. I emailed them multiple times about the problem without a response. Then, an athlete of ours injured themselves because of the turf malfunction. I emailed again, stating the recent event and received calls within seconds. They came out to \fix the problem\. Absolutely nothing was done and they sent me invoices for the epair\. The creases are becoming more prominent and more of an issue. I emailed again and have been ignored. Honestly, do not waste your money with this company's products. They are absolutely ignorant.
Our non-profit community-based softball program used On Deck Sports to supply our Wilson softballs for our 48 team tournament. The balls were defective and had cracked within minutes of use. We had ordered more than a GROSS for the long weekend of play. Only 2 balls used per game (which has worked in the past and left us with plenty of gently used practice balls post tournament). There were many complaints and we had run out of most of our inventory too quickly. Upon completion of our tournament we contacted On Deck and asked for some form of restitution from them and/or from Wilson/Demarini (@WilsonSportingG) . After much back and forth, they discussed the matter internally and with their Wilson Rep. Wilson chose to do nothing since we could not \Prove the balls broke\ (we threw them out...what good were they?!?). On Deck chose to send us a replacement of 6 dozen balls. We feel this was a satisfactory solution to the issue.
The staff is really friendly and easy to work with and they know what they're talking about. I also think they have a lot of great products.
