Wickes customer service is absolutely shocking. Purchased a shower online with a 5 year warranty in July 2020, this I Installed and had my new bath room complete in early September. I noticed the shower valve was letting by and dripping slow but constantly. I first made contact with the advisor in Sep. after many many emails back and forth the advisor disappeared from the face of the earth mid December with no resolution. After Christmas was out the way I attempted to get the issued cleared up so made contact once again, and although I had all the emails and all the transcripts linked to my account I had to go through everything again. I was told they no longer made the product and there is little they can do? Hold fire the product has a 5 year warranty? They said sorry but you may need to go to your local store and see if they are able to help with an alternative (I explained I have been self isolating since March 2020 due to health issues) and this was the reason for my online purchase so I had no desire to leave the house now due to their shortfalls. Today 19th February out of the blue I have been informed there isn’t anything they can do so they will put a cheque in the post that may take a further 21 days to arrive, then I need to leave the house to pay it in then further time for it to clear? All this and noticed they are reselling the same shower under a different product code so why has this not been offered?? Shocking do not waste your life dealing with these people, customer service is shocking

I meet a very pleasant and helpful member of staff, who directed me straight to the item I wanted. Once I found it he reappeared and asked if he could help me with anything else. We had a discussion about insulation as that's my next job on my shed . I then paid and left .
Good sized store with ample parking and level access. The kitchen showroom is upstairs though. Good variety of goods but not vast. Staff are all very helpful. Great for diy building projects. Large choice of timber and boarding. Got a diy project this is the place to come.
I visited this store just after Christmas to purchase some plumbing parts and in the sale I found a beautiful basin and pedestal, bargain at 50 however they was no box. I politely asked an assistant if they could find some cardboard, he said this would not be a problem after 10 mins another assistant came over and explained that in the entire premises there was no cardboard or wrapping of any kind so if I wanted the goods I would have to take them as they were. I did but when I got home my fingers slipped and I dropped the pedestal it broke. The moral of this story is that Wickes offer zero customer care and obviously employ people who just simply are not interested in their jobs. Sad as my 14K kitchen that I was to order from them has now been placed with Wren. Excellent own goal Mr Wickes, will you take note and change things,,,,, mmmmmm I doubt it!!!
Not the largest Wickes I've ever been too but it's well stocked and everything is easy to find. Even has a small outdoor area for garden items. I've been twice recently and managed to pick up the items I wanted quicky and easily. Staff have been polite and friendly and the store is clean and the shelves stocked up.
