Susan fed my spouse and me at a workplace winter party at her home (former BU mansion) a few years ago. We are both vegan and it was ensured ahead of time that she would serve us appropriately. Unfortunately, she served both of us leftovers that had meat in it. She had tried to remove all the chunks of meat, but clearly had missed some. I ended up eating some and she claimed that they were mushrooms. The outright deception was unbelievable! She wasn't fooling anyone. Furthermore, she served desserts that come packaged in gold foil -- which can be purchased at Dollarama! Needless to say, serving people dietarily-inappropriate leftovers and dollar store/not homemade desserts is absolutely shameful.
