I Trained Jiu Jitsu here for 4 months and looking back at my time in Rio, training at this academy was the highlight of my trip. There are lots of friendly people happy to help speaking Portuguese, English and Spanish and it’s very professional when it gets down to it. Great facilities and Perfect location in the heart of Ipanema close to beach and metro. Recommend to everyone. Thank you Eugenio and all.

Since the first day that I wennt in this bjj Academy i felt like at home, The athmosfere it's very friendly but also very professional. I prepared there my first compétition in Brasil, in Rio de Janeiro and I won the gold medal, thank also to Mestre Eugenio that's really i great person. Felipe is a top notch instructor. I learned SO much on one hour! I would train here everyday if I could. Perfect for beginners all the way up to black belts.

Brazilian Black Belt is a great gym. It is perfect for travelers for many reasons. First of all, they are very welcoming and friendly. Felipe and a lot of the trainers speak English. Many of the students speak English as well. The schedule is great, filled with a lot of training sessions, so finding your perfect time to train is easy. I trained at Brazilian Black Belt for three weeks and I learned so much. I would definitely go back there and recommend all BJJ practitioners visiting Rio to train at Brazilian Black Belt
