Love going there for an early or late walk. It's always clean. I did notice some graffiti on some parts of the white fence leading to the trees, sad to see that.

Nice lake and picnic areas. The redwood grove is very special. The trails to the rim and dam offer nice views of the valley. Many migratory birds enjoy the lake and surroundings. This picture of pelicans fishing on the lake at sunset was inspiring.

Very clean park to bring your family too 3 for the mon-fri. Saturday-Sunday 5. Well worth the price of admission

Not much of a hike buts its convenience and redwoods make it nice. The park/lake adds more options but the hike itself isnt anything to remember. its a 4 star park, with meh hike bonus. Parking seems adequate but never been during peak times. warning: proximity factor probably playing too much a role in my assessment.

Nice large and open grass areas, large playground, decent size lake and walking trails. The restrooms and outside hand washing area were clean and well maintained! So was the cover picnic and grilling area. Felt nice to see the friendly park range cruising around.
