This includes simulation for medical rehabilitation, such as the CEAL facility developed by IDT for the Toronto Rehabilitation Institute. A major area of interest is aviation safety. The founder of IDT is also chairman of the International Committee for Aviation Training in Extended Envelopes ICATEE (www.icatee.org) which operates under the Royal Aeronautical Society. ICATEE's primary goal is to develop training and technical solutions for airplane Loss of Control in Flight. Our ability to substantially contribute to this work stems from experience in specifying and developing simulation for high-performance and unique applications, and years of experience in airplane upset simulation.
