I picked up my DPMS AR 10 .308 here. Love their prices. I drove from the gun show down town just to buy this weapon because it was the best price I could find. The trip was worth it. Going back again and I live in South Houston.

Seller operated under the Independence Firearms name when I made this purchase. Purchased a weapon at a gun show, only to find defects. My receipt stated I should refer to the weapon's manufacturer after 30 days after purchase, which implies I had other options during that time period. I was not told during the sale that I could or could not return or exchange the weapon. I was told by the owner that because the weapon was purchased at a gun show that I had no other option than to refer to the manufacturer, even though it hasn't been 30 days. No other services to rectify the defects were offered (gunsmithing) by the owner, although his employee recommended the in-house gunsmith and was helpful enough to double-check with the owner and call me back, as she originally stated the weapon could be returned, exchanged or consigned. If I was to arrive at the store after travelling over 100 miles only to find I was given incorrect information, I would definitely be leaving a worse review. The owner was only helpful enough to tell me that I had no options.I have nothing against the establishment due to its policies -- I seriously don't expect everyone I deal with to go out of their way to suck up to customers and do anything to make them happy -- and I don't have extensive experience dealing with gun dealers and shows, but I wouldn't recommend it and won't be returning.
