This is a great facility! Brenham is lucky to have such a place. Clean and new, fantastically friendly staff! And the adoption fees are not bad considering everything they include...vaccinations, micro chip, etc. We adopted a small dog from them back in June and couldn't be more pleased. They post their pets online, so you can see what is available at any time. Dealt mostly with Robin, and she was great! Can't imagine why a few people gave them such a low rating (no explanations were given by these reviewers) but as a city animal shelter and part of animal control, they have a hard job, but they do it well and with professionalism.

The staff were fantastic. I adopted a puppy/dog who means so much to us. When I went in, they asked me to sit and play with the Spider (chihuahua legs look just like spider legs). I loved him right away, but if I hadn't, this would have given me time to think about how he would fit in our home. Everyone at the animal shelter was wonderful. This kind of customer service is rare and greatly appreciated. THANK YOU!
