After taking a couple lessons at Knoll Farm, I would say I finally found a place that will take me to the level of horsemanship I always dreamt of. Andrea is the most sweet and caring instructor that will help you on your horseback riding journey no matter what level you are at! Also the staff at Knoll are super encouraging and always willing to help. Trust me you will love it here!

I have been taking lessons with Lucinda at Knoll Farm for the past year and a half and have had a wonderful experience! When I first came to Knoll Farm, I was a bit nervous as I had never taken lessons before, but was so inspired to ride. The process to schedule was easy, and after meeting Lucinda, I was way more at ease. She has been kind, patient, and very knowledgeable which has helped me gain skills and confidence in my riding. I have gone from being so beginner that I had to learn how to hold the reins properly, to cantering and doing (very small) jumps! The staff there are also very friendly and welcoming and it is clear that they take care of their horses! Would definitely recommend Knoll Farm!
I have been riding at Knoll Farm for over a decade now, starting as a teenager, and continuing to ride now as an adult. I've had the pleasure of working with and learning from almost every one of the patient, professional and incredible trainers at the riding school. I have ridden or worked with most, if not all, of the exceptional school horses, each unique and lovely in their own ways. I can easily say that I have come to know Knoll as my second home. Whether it is a jumping or dressage lesson, a hack, or a schooling, I feel welcomed and valued as a part of Knoll. The staff is welcoming and friendly as well as the community of riders and families, who are always willing to lend a hand, help educate, or simply offer a warm hello. This is the perfect place for any rider - child or adult, beginner or advanced, school-rider or boarder, timid or courageous, local or NYC-based, and beyond. Knoll is a place full of (and for) kind folks who share a love of horses and riding. If you are looking for a home away from home, look no further. Knoll Farm is the place.
I want to thank Andrea at Knoll Farm for introducing my daughter to the wonderful, magical world of horseback riding. Andrea has given my daughter a new sense of confidence. Andrea’s enthusiasm and passion are contagious! And my daughter cannot wait for her lessons every week, and her favorite horse April. Knoll Farm is the BEST! We love it here.
Knoll farm is my favorite place on Long Island ! They have great horses and very friendly stuff ! Instructors are super nice and focused on their students during the lesson! You learn how to tuck and groom the horses which is awesome you build special connections and you can get really comfortable around the horses specially for beginners like me ;) Definitely recommend to everyone! If you thinking about horseback riding Knoll Farm is the best on Long Island !!
