Here on a Saturday at 8pm and the store is closed. Lights off doors locked closed! The entire mall is open except the Mac store! Came all the way down here to buy a gift card and the store is closed! WTH???? Seriously?!!! Dec 28th the mall is packed with shoppers. Online says this store is open until 10pm. Just wow.

"Eye Demo" DISASTER! Today I purchased a few makeup items and learned about the free eye demo with minimum 30 purchase. The male makeup artist convinced me to give it a try. I assumed he would be using the new light shimmery shadow I had just purchased, but later saw that was not the case. He selected a dull non shimmer color. He called it "an all day wear look" The makeup artist turned me away from the mirror, brushed various shadows on my eyelids. Smudged in uneven pencil on my outer lid and water line. No mascara! & He over penciled my brows. Then since they weren't busy, he offered to complementary add foundation. After the foundation was applied, he then topped it with an under eye concealer (stating the concealer was definitely not in my correct color & was too light) but still continued to use it anyway!! He finished my lips with a bright pink gloss. Again, I had no idea what I looked like until he turned me to face the mirror for "the big reveal" When I saw myself I was horrified! The makeup artist knew I had many errands to run & he told me everyone would look at me and think I was "a beautiful glowing goddess." I have never felt so ugly in my life! The concealer he used was much to pale for my natural skin tone. The lip gloss, way too bright for my face as well. I tried to give constructive criticism but it wasn't received well. It confused me as to why he would tell me the concealer he chose wasn't my color as he applied it yet he would use it anyway. I left and inconveniently had to rush home to wash off the makeup as I looked like a clown! Very disappointed.
