We had a great stay. We got a good deal at traveldeals.nl. We choose to stay a bit further to Amsterdam, just 20 minutes drive and very close to Utrecht as well. Plus the hotel is near the train station to Amsterdam and Utrecht so if you don't want to bring a car this is a very convenient option. We stayed for 4 days and 3 nights including a buffet breakfast for 2. Our room had a combined single bed (just a suggestion, they could also use a combined sheets and blanket to keep the bed together so the bed won't always move) its really not ideal. They should also include other basic toiletries such as toothbrush and paste, cotton swabs. We had our anniversary dinner at their restaurant, they have a lot of visitors aside from the guest staying in the hotel. The food was good, my partner enjoyed his lamb steak and the appetizer. I ordered gambas which is not that good. Taste is a bit bland and a bit undercooked they should work on that dish more. But service is good and the buffet breakfast is great we had a lot of option. You can also use their wellness facilities such as the sauna, steam bath, indoor pool and gym. But due to covid its limited for 6 person for 45 minutes and you have to schedule it in advance. We did schedule ours on our 3rd day but the frontdesk and the wellness attendant had a miscommunication regarding our reservation so we weren't able to do it on time and had to go back to our room and wait for an hour. I was super annoyed with it cuz we had to go back to the hotel earlier cuz for our reservation. FYI, Wellness center is only open until 9pm. But they provide a complimentary drinks and snacks which we ised at the bar for the inconvenience so in the end im ok with it. We had a few drinks in the bar as well before we checked out the next day.

Very nice accommodations. Staff are not as fluent in English as I would have like. Also be aware that airport shuttle doesn't go every hour - that proved a hardship for me and an added cost to get to airport.

A beautiful, new, well equipped (pool, sauna, gym) hotel right next to the train station. The rooms are spotless, the parking in front of the door and staff is helpful and kind. Definitely recommended.

Food was incredible- did the dinner, night and breakfast thing. Dinner was a three course meal and we had the carpaccio and the Mexican salad. I recommend the carpaccio, it was superior. For seconds the meat and the salmon, both were good but I loved the salmon (which says a lot because I’m more of a meat girl) and for dessert the créeme brûlée, which I barely touched because I was so full. The rooms are like any van der valk rooms but they had massive balconies and a nice bath. Breakfast was prime, buffet style with anything you want, and fresh omelettes. I’m happy to stay here again!

This a great Valk hotel, that had a refresh in 2019. The deluxe rooms are spacious and feature a bath. The deluxe rooms are located in the new wing of the hotel, where you also find the pool, gym and welness. The wellness is enjoyfull featuring a sauna, steam bath and rest area. The gym is not 24h accessible as it is part of the pool-wellness. The breakfast has a wide offering and surely worth its value. If you are travelling to amsterdam it is ideal to leave your car at the hotel and take the nearby train. By taking the train you will be faster in Amsterdam and cheaper as parking in Amsterdam is 6euro per hour.

We had a diner here before we went to a musical in the Beatrix Theater. We didn’t like the massive approach. We liked the food. It was not special but good. Prices are reasonable. If you need a quick and good dinner this is the place. If you want an exclusive dinner you better look somewhere else. René and Menekşe.
