Brezels exist and the quality varies from place to place. Here they were mediocre.

Over the last few years we've become quite fans of Brezelkönig. I remember many years ago the quality wasn't up todays standard yet. But they've improved a great deal. Either you get your Pretzel and Sandwiches here or at another location (The Emmen Center Mall for ex.), the quality stays the same. And it's indeed a good quality. The Pretzels and Sandwiches taste fresh and there's actually a good amount of meat (or cheese....or veggies, if you really must) inside. Besides that a generous amount of butter, which I love. And the Pretzels are sprinkled with a good load of rock salt. So: salty, crispy, buttery and a good load of meat. What do I need more out of a snack. It's the perfect place to grab a quick bite. Service is fast, basic, but friendly enough. The price for a bigger Pretzel with meat cuts you back 6.50 CHF. A smaller sandwich (try Chorizo and cheese) costs you only 3.50 CHF, which I think - for Switzerland - is fair. Recommended - I'll be back.
