A truly lovely place that I had to go and collect the ashes of my friends deceased ex-husband as she was far too busy and I was treated with so much respect and professionalism. Even though I wasn’t directly related to the deceased, they still treated him – the urn, (that was nicely packed into a box to ensure they wouldn’t be damaged) with a nice plaque on it and spoke to me as if I was honestly the spouse! If that’s any indication of how they treat a complete stranger to the deceased who came to collect his ashes, I’m positive this would be wonderful place for any funeral service or more that you would require. I had about half an hour up my sleeve before the appointment so I wandered around and the lawns are just so well kept and the whole place is just beautiful with gorgeous fountains and other water features that really added to the peaceful ambulance. Thank you for all your help as the lady did take a fair while to collect him ( he was her ex-husband after all ) and your understanding was very much appreciated.

A very unpleasant experience occurred during our service, it was unacceptable and there are no excuses, it was disgusting and I would hate for any other family to go through what happened as a funeral service can only happen once. The slideshow we prepared experienced a technical difficulty which resulted in it not being able to be shown during the service. While this was less than ideal, the way Albany creek memorial park staff handled it was regrettable. The concierge lady burst into the service and just started talking to a colleague (during the eulogy) not even making an effort to be quiet, she stayed there towards the rear of the room and talked for several minutes... it was incredibly insensitive. The person conducting the eulogy was a former Premier of the state, a good public speaker and you could see that even he became slightly flustered. The concierge needed to be asked to be quiet, or to leave.. her response was.. do you want me to fix this or not? When she was finally convinced to leave by a grieving family member she stood outside and proceeded to make a phone call.. loudly and basically in the door way to the service. The place is obviously a nice setting, a very picturesque landscape. But I would advise anyone considering using this company to outsource as much of the required services as possible.

Albany Creek Memorial Park’s computer system ‘crashed’ midway through a service early this week. It was stressful and disappointing to say the least that they didn’t have a backup plan for this kind of scenario; with a room full of grieving guests, we were stuck with no solution. It was awkward. And we can’t do a ‘take two’. Sadly, there is no ‘keepsake’ audiovisual copy of the service for the family. But that isn’t the reason why I’ll not be recommending this venue from now on. It’s their unprofessional, rude, insensitive, non caring ATTITUDE that has shocked me. Owning our own business with 17 trained staff, we understand the importance of having a genuinely caring compassionate company culture, which employees transparently reflect. This was not my experience with ACMP... it was appalling. They left me feeling we were just another booking/number... turnover! Disgusted.

Beautiful place which has such a serenity to it, the grounds are perfect and the garden chapel is lovely with a complete setup.

Never been there in person but they handled the cremation of my father excellently! Very kind and understanding.

A beautiful service held here today by George Harnett Funerals. So fitting for the truly amazing and beautiful lady whose life we celebrated. The chapel and surrounds offer a peaceful setting. The catering afterwards held in the cafe was of a very high standard. The food and service, complementing the whole experience.

Our experience was nothing short of disappointment. The audio visual equipment failed and, in the process of failing to fix this, the female concierge spoke very loudly over speeches that were being given in honour of our family member, in the same room. When she was eventually asked to keep her voice down by another family member, she was very rude and confrontational. If this is what your profession is, you cannot afford to be anything but at the top of your game, especially when it involves people paying tribute to a loved one for the last time. I would go to extraordinary measures to avoid using their facility in the future. Moz deserved better than this, as did his wife and little girls.
