Richard and Jeff are the friendliest and most professional owners of a salon I have ever met. They are experts in their individual fields and have a deep commitment to listen to their customer’s requirements. I have been a client of theirs for over ten years and have been very pleased with the quality of service. Earlier, I had tried other salons, including those in Halifax, and no one has come close to the quality of service they provide. It’s a great environment made comfortable by their warm personalities and gentle ways and good advice. Richard takes his time to understand you and what your expectations are. He will endeavour to have you walk away feeling satisfied and fulfilled. I recommend them without reservation! The best you will ever find.

Richard has been styling my hair for many years and prior to this past year he was colouring it as well. There is no doubt that he is the best hairstylist I have ever been to. I really like the amount of time he spends consulting and styling, the work that he does, his knowledge, expertise and professionalism, and his friendly manner. The salon environment is lovely as well. It is very clean, well organized, and uncrowded - and Jeff does a wonderful job with the music. I can’t help but consider both Richard and Jeff as my friends and I can’t recommend them enough.
I was a bouncing around barbers for years. I had a major life event and needed a proper cut. A coworker took me aside and said if you want the best haircut you have to go and see Jeff he is a guys guy, and the place has a good vibe you have to go. As soon as I walked in the door I was impressed with the feel of the place - comfortable chairs, one guy is reading the paper, another is watching a show on the TV. Jeff pointed to a seat and said there was a few ahead of me. Of course I'm going to tell you I got the best hair cut of my life because I did. What is even better than the cut is the whole experience of going in catching up with the guys having a few laughs and just feeling good when you walk out. I've been going to Jeff for five years now. Stop reading this review do yourself a favour go see Jeff.
I have been having Richard style my hair for over 8 years. Both he and Jeff are dedicated to delivering delightful customer experiences and the highest level of customer satisfaction. I also appreciate the suggestions for which styling products are suited for my hair, which I can purchase at Studio 158. Always leaving happy with my cut and consider Richard (and Jeff ) not just stylists but my friends. Would HIGHLY recommend!!
