A brilliant place to stretch the legs. A easily accessible car park that's free for National Trust members. Toilet facilities close to it. Some great woodland to explore on foot, horseback or bike. Lots of seating about the woodland. Able to socially distance from people very well. Very picturesque. Dogs able to roam off their leads apart from in the car park area and immediate woodland.

Beautiful walks. Stunning trees and lots of birds around the lakes. Very muddy in parts so you need strong footwear at the moment. A small car park. No booking needed. Just go on a whim. Drinks and cake available and toilets near the car park. Very few sitting points so not so good if you can't walk far.
