Amazingly good Sunday roast! Two adults and two teenage boys, we ate two roast beef dinners and a roast chicken which were all absolutely delicious. The beef was slow roasted overnight and just melted. All the roasts came with Yorkshire puddings and stuffing and a selection of vegetables plus additional gravy. The fish pie was superb and had so many different types of fish in, we couldn't identify them all - cod, salmon, prawns plus we think whelks and possibly a scallop. My son isn't usually adventurous but wolfed it down! For dessert we had the chocolate and hazelnut delice and a strawberry trifle, again both were delicious. Service was quick and price was incredibly reasonable for what we had. We've booked again for next Sunday!

Lovely quiet secluded pub and restaurant where you can eat in and out. An interesting and varied medium priced menu. I would recommend the sandwiches, which are very large, and come with fries and side salad and are reasonably priced. A good selection of ales are served. The interior dining area is very nicely designed with a modern smart clean look. Large car park on site.
The food was delicious and the waiting staff were super friendly and loved our dog. they were very on the ball with all the new covid secure measures including asking for our track and trace information which they promised would be destroyed in 21 days. Unfortunately their card couldn't reach outside but one of the lovely waiters explained this to us so one of our group went up to the counter to pay.
Food was very good and good social distancing but the toilets were really dirty. Put me off returning
