Reliable Roofing have done an amazing job on my sisters roof, due to a c*wboy she had lost a lot of money, confidence and hope. John and his team had stepped in at short notice and taken on one hell of a job and turned it around to produce results that are amazing, from what looked like a roof on a ramshackle sheep pen to something which my sister is so so happy with and proud of. New Roof, Facias and Soffits with TopCover August 2018. Their work is good and we are happy with roof. They were very reliable at time of hire and tidied up after themselves. Subcontractors TopCover used I do not rate. Scaffolders didn't turn up when booked and then delayed the started of the job before they took weeks to drop scaffolding. Damage was caused to the Sky Dish that TopCover agreed to repay us for, despite it likely being the Scaffolders they used who damaged it. We never got this back. The new fascias block in bathroom extractor, sending damp air up into new roof. We also never received any guarantees, receipts or any other paperwork. We have been months trying to get the guarantees, refund for damage caused during the work and to get the fascias blocking the extractor sorted. No response for months on any numbers or email addresses I had, including one I got the quote from. Finally got a response on RatedPeople chat as a last resort before leaving a review, but since had no responses again, despite the messages showing as read. Have now paid for extractor to be sorted myself on top of covering the damage to the Sky dish. I paid TopCover 5500 all in, which we thought was a fair price originally, does now seem overpriced with no guarantees received and extra expenses for us. I have tried to be fair in my rating. All in all, due to the months of waiting for problems to be resolved and extra expenses caused to us, despite their actual work being good, we would not recommend TopCover at this time.
A nice chap who did good work at a reasonable price. However, despite me asking twice he has so far failed to send me a receipt, hence four stars instead of five
