STAN BARNES of BRIGHAM CITY is a CROOK! We never got a written contract (saying exactly what they will do or how long it will take). PROBLEM #1 We never got a written Warranty PROBLEM #2 The guys were nice, until there was a problem. They started my windows in July and in Sept they were almost done. Now 2 years later they are still not done. My basement flooded because of it. I filed complaints with the department of licensing and they are not licensed and have been ordered to shut their business down until they get the licence. We have filed a small claims report because of our basement never got fixed. I have the same complaints as the other guys who had negative google reviews. I've contacted BBB, DOPL (dept of Licensing), Said you have a citation and a cease and desist order Google Brigham City Commerce and have filed a law suite Stan Barnes is the owner , he keeps changing his business name. Went to court to find out Custom Glass & Paint is no longer in Business. Brigham City verified The New business name is Brigham glass. Same owner Stan Barnes.

So far, not a good experience. I contacted them for a bid on windows in my home and they were right over. The bid was decent so I told them to go ahead. They said that they would need to order the glass and 50% down would be required. Sounds reasonable so I paid them. It's over a month later and still no work has been done. I've contacted them at least twice a week, since they won't contact me, to see when they can get going on this and I get continual excuses about mix ups, etc. He does like to tell me though that he attended the temple on whatever day. That's nice but the bottom line is, the job isn't complete, or even started yet. If they were to quickly get the job done, and done well, the review will be made a bit more positive. We'll see.
We loved the quote because it was much less than the others, so we put 50% down. But we have been waiting for several months now to have them installed and have just gotten a lot of excuses. We are at the point of researching installers to see if we can find someone else to just install them. He seems like a good person, but just needs to hire some extra hands to do the installation.

I've contacted BBB, DOPL (dept of Licensing), Said you have a citation and a cease and desist order Google Brigham City Commerce and have filed a law suite I was willing to let you work it out even after all the problems and 5 months and my windows are still not done, but since you were not willing to work with us. Stan Barnes is the owner , he keeps changing his business name. Went to court today to find out Custom Glass & Paint is no longer in Business. If I could give 0 stars I would. Problems of hiring this company: guys come unprepared and borrow tools from clients, took months to start the project and even longer to finish, no contract, no receipts, windows were improperly sealed - so on top of needing the project redone, it's necessary to redo the basement due to the windows letting water in - 1 month later and still no resolution.
Very helpful in replacing a curio cabinet glass shelf that needed to be custom cut. Cut it while I waited and did it at a most reasonable price.
