Our first “eating out” for a very long time, and really pleased we picked this venue for it. The food is lovely quality and well priced, the staff are extremely friendly and the atmosphere feels really welcoming. There’s an excellent selection of gluten free and/or vegan options. There’s some really good social distancing measures in place without them feeling intrusive. It was lovely to enjoy casual, good quality food outdoors.

Very well organised for COVID. Granted we enjoyed half price via eat out to help out. But in all honesty we'll be more than happy to pay the full menu prices in future. My burger was very juicy, accompanied by a nice salad (If you like that sort of thing) and coleslaw. They let me switch fries to hand cut chips which were great. The missus had cajun chicken burger, which she also enjoyed. These were accompanied by a side of onion rings wish were fresh and tasty. The accompanying table ordered fish butties while we were there and wow they'll smelled like they were fresh from the local chippy. They were a bit slow in asking for deserts, but when said dessert arrived, the missus was in a happy space, so definitely will be going again. I don't have a dog, but I really do appreciate the level to which they are accommodated for dog walkers. Highly recommended.

Well run pub/restaurant. Impressed with response to Covid. Felt as safe as possible. Great beer garden including an under cover area. Dog friendly. Very pleasant surroundings inside and out. Nice toilets, very clean. Good food.

Great place for a bite and a beer! Lovely sitting outside in the beer garden when it's sunny. Good for kids, dog friendly. Would recommend.

One of the best beer gardens around, if not the best. Loads of seating, big tables and right next to the canal. Heated area for the colder months too with blankets and cushions provided.

Love the fact this pub is so dog friendly, my little buddy makes a beeline for the door everytime we go near as she is obsessed with their dog dishes especially for man's best friend There's also a young man who serves the food here and he is exceptional. On the last two occasions I've visited he's been so polite and always smiling. It's still quite rare to have such great service and he's an asset to the business.

We visited on a quiet Sunday afternoon. Food was exceptional and staff were really friendly. Great value for money as 2 roast dinners are 10 each on Sundays, good portions and very tasty. For good quality pub grub, drinks and service - this is as good as it gets. Overall, highly recommended!
