If you fancy an afternoon tea during lockdown, order from The Secret Tea Room in Brighouse. We had ours delivered and I have to say it was amazing and delicious with plenty to eat. Truly worth every penny. We will be doing it again in a heartbeat.

Best Afternoon tea for a birthday , great for value
Found the market entrance for this tucked away through a tunnel alleyway but were supprised to find such a pretty tearoom. It's bigger on the inside than it looks and has different levels to sit on. Dogs are allowed on the lowest level and ours was made very welcome and enjoyed the trip. Good variety on the menu, lovely helpful staff and interesting books around the sides (an extract in the pictures)
Just to say a massive thank you to The Secret Tea Rooms for providing a gorgeous afternoon tea in a box as a "takeaway" during the Covid 19 lockdown. A much needed opportunity for indulgengence and happiness during these difficult times. Soup, sandwiches, scones, cakes and cookies - just amazing! Strawberries dipped in chocolate added a wow factor. We will return and hopefully be able to have an afternoon tea in the Tea Rooms once the lockdown is over.

Just had a fantastic lunch here with my sister. Value for money, very friendly staff, great food. Well worth a visit. Don't let the virus madness put you off. Would visit again!
