I am a speech undergraduate student and I needed to get observation hours for one of my classes. I decided to observe at this amazing clinic and I am very happy that I did. I had an extremely positive experience with all of the speech therapists that I encountered in this clinic. It is a very professional setting. All of the speech- language pathologists worked so well with all of the children and were so knowledgeable about the treatment methods they were using. I was able to notice progress in the client just from the one hour in which I observed them. The providers are great people to work with and I was very impressed with the setting in every aspect. Really enjoyed my time observing there.

I spoke with a receptionist yesterday,(Monday) at the Richmond location (only know they have two locations from asking). I was very interested in scheduling an evaluation for my child for services. They unfortunately do not work with my insurance but I most certainly will be bringing him there for an evaluation. The secretary was very helpful, understood the questions asked, as well as answering them all. Very pleasent and from the pictures online, the place seems very clean and a child friendly enviorment.

Absolutely unprofessional- would not recommend them. My experience with the receptionist was horrific- after missing an appointment, I was extremely apologetic , I also would have paid a cancellation fee if assessed however the receptionist who would not give me her name hung up on me repeatedly and told me that I would not be able to reschedule an appointment to get therapy for my child! The only reason I called back was to speak with an office manager to inform her of her of how I was being treated- If they treated me this way I can only imagine how they would treat my child- I would never recommend them to another parent -

I have been bringing my daughter here for 2 years already and have seen so much progress in her speech as well as her behavior. So much professionalism, kindness and hard work from the entire staff and therapists at Bright Start.
