I honestly can't figure out why this place is rated 4.4. The food is legit, service is fast, uncomplicated. Of course not the world's best fish and chips, but it is well worth its price. Great value. I'd come back no problem, thanks!

Super friendly and helpful staff! Didn’t know what to order. They recommended “Captain George’s Seafood Platter”. The food was great! The batter on the fish was so light and fluffy! The fries seemed to be freshly cut potatos. The platter fed both of us and we still had stuff to take home. Paid around 36 after tips. Good deal for good food.
Call in your order or you will wait untill everyone in restaurant is served, regardless of the fact that you were standing at the counter before they entered the premises. Also all phone calls are answered and orders taken before you will get to place your order. Otherwise the fish and chips are good, but not good enough to return and stand at the counter and watch everyone else get served.
Love this place. Best batter. Light and crispy. Owner and staff are the best.
Haddock was great. A two piece with one fry was plenty for the two of us. Called the order in well ahead of time and was disappointed with the extra half hour wait. The pandemic had something to do with that but it should have been factored in. At least their in a free coleslaw. Yummy fish!
