Shocking front of house! My partner and I had reserved a table for 6pm. When we arrived at, 9 minutes prior to our booking, we were told by a very stressed out waitress that they had a ten person booking upstairs, not that I cared! When I asked if we could have a glass of wine and read through the menu whilst we waited for our table we were told NO! “ you can sit in the restaurant at the window but no glass of wine” ! Being furious with this reception we left and decided not to return. We have now been fronted with a 40 booking cancellation fee! Which we shall not be paying! Had the service of been one of welcome and professionalism we would have spent well over 100 in this restaurant! Disgraceful treatment towards two people looking to spend money and enjoy eating in a highly rated restaurant in Brighton. We shall not return! We couldn’t even get through the door and be welcomed, bare minimum in my many experiences of dining in restaurants. Better service in Mac Donald’s quite frankly!

I had a lovely meal here for my birthday back in October. The food was delicious and it was great to see everything made in front of you. Plus the staff were lovely. Would highly recommend as a high end budget without the extortionate prices!
