I adopted 3 cats from Kitty in the City at different times. They put the needs of the cat before the wishes of the human, which is best practice for animal rescue. They also make sure to support you afterwards with any ongoing issues. this is a small, experienced, and dedicated rescue that does fantastic community work with local stray and feral cats in Brighton.

Called to enquire about two cats on website rude women tried to put me off taking cats. Also your age is an issue incase you die before the animals. Even though the lady is 64 she told me. No one else that age should take them. Website out of date. Avoid at all costs.
I've been trying to call so many times to ask more information about adoptions as I am interested In adopting a cat and I can only talk with a voice mail keep saying that adoptions are close due to the pandemic ..I mean it's a bit silly..all the other centres are open now and working properly with the safe social distancing.
Wow. Completely stunned by what has just happened. Called up to see if they needed any help in these unprecedented times and had the phone put down on me. Has put me off calling any other shelters to offer help.
Rude. A Pointless organisation.
