On our first visit we popped in to have a look around, we liked the place and staff were friendly. A little while later we went back to make sure of some measurements, and placed the order. Grate Fireplaces were recommended to us by a local tradesman. We found them professional and friendly throughout: keen without being pushy. They engaged with us well and suggested a number of gas fires and surrounds to suit our requirements, as well as advising potential pit falls for some we initially looked at. They accommodated unforeseen changes to the schedule with no fuss and little delay. I was grateful they took care of all the work from beginning to end - I only had to deal with one company. All work was carried out to an excellent standard and all four fitters we dealt with were first class. The chimney sweep they recommended and the plasterer they used were both very good: punctual and very tidy. The end result is stunning - a true centre piece of a large scale refurbishment
