I recently ate here with my family for my dads birthday and we were all amazed at the quality of the food. Not only is it a lovely place to sit and eat, the staff are very friendly and it was honestly the best Indian food we’ve ever had in Bristol. The staff knew it was my dads birthday from when we booked in advance, but we hadn’t asked for any birthday surprise for him or anything, yet they still bought him out a birthday card, a shot and a birthday cake at the end of our meal! The food is very fairly priced and they have a great selection of drinks, we can’t wait to eat here again once these lockdowns are over! You can tell it’s incredibly authentic as soon as you walk in and the food only confirms that - it feels like a family run business inside. Thanks so much for such a lovely experience, see you soon!xx

Found this restaurant during our short visit to Bristol while walking through the city centre. An amazing find - we tried the Dahi Papdi Chaat Chicken 65 starter and the Garlic Coriander naan & Telangana Lamb-dish for mains. Food was excellent without doubt - the lamb was cooked to perfection and the chicken was delicious. The restaurant as quite booked up for walk-in (fair dos, it was a Saturday night) so recommend making a booking ahead of time unless you are happy to wait. We also had a nice chat with the waiter - who told us more about the restaurant and the chef (chef has worked under renowned Indian chefs like Sanjay Kapoor as well as highly acclaimed restaurants like Benares, etc) - so the quality and the flavours of food are excellent/close to Michelin levels. Highly recommend. My only suggestion to the restaurant owners is to reconsider the 'rectangular plate' - while it makes for good photo opps, it's really is difficult to have curry and naan on a rectangular plate esp on a small table. A very minor point but thought worth suggesting nonetheless. Will definitely return on our next trip to Bristol

Absolutely lovely butter chicken curry, peshwari naan, rice kheer and samosa chaat!! I actually forgot to ask to have no coriander and I am weak on spices but butter chicken curry was really incredible :)!! Everything came warm and the stater and dessert was another level as well x)! Food was suppose to come in 20 minutes but came in 10 minutes which was incredible! Would definitely love to order again in the future. Highly recommend :)

Absolutely delicious meal! We had an array of dishes from the menu, particularly aiming to try some of the house special curry bowls. The curries were flavourful, the naan fluffy and soft, and the rice matched the dishes beautifully. Genuinely, my one suggestion is amp up the spice! The dahl especially felt like it lacked a kick and I find this the core of Indian cuisine - the more kick and flavour, the better.

The best way I can describe this restaurant is ‘Indian food tapas style’. They have more vegetarian and vegan options than meaty ones, which is nice. They recommend sharing 6 tapas between 2 people but I could argue 5 (or even 4) are enough!
