I just called to book a survey having recently had an offer accepted on a house. The advice I received was polite and helpful. It is clear that surveyors are in great demand at the moment, but I was reassured that all buyers were in the same position and I should not be worried about the vendor being put off by a slight delay. The process for providing a quote and booking was also explained clearly. I can't comment yet on the survey provided (as haven't had one yet) but first impressions seem promising.

Agree with previous poster, rude, would not use someone who refuses to tell you what their hourly rate is.
