First time at Raj Mahal and will be the last time. Found it very overpriced and very bland. 3.60 for a portion of samosa which looked just like the frozen ones you could buy from the supermarkets. I ordered a stuffed paratha which was literally a scatter of potato and a sprinkle of turmeric in undercooked fat wedge of dough! The tastiest part of the food was the salad! The onion bhajis too were drenched in oil and again 3.00 for two. Very disappointed and wouldn’t recommend.

Lovely to see the reopening of a local Indian. The updated look is stylish and welcoming as well as being well spaced out. A good menu with tasty options - tried some different dishes and really enjoyed them. Staff were all very welcoming and attentive. COVID policies were followed carefully and considerately without too much intrusion.

Tried here the other day for the first, despite living only half a mile from it for 5 years and the food was great! Very tender pieces of meat in the curry that was very flavoursome.

Best restaurant ever, I would give them 100 stars if I could, the Raj has been closed for 2 years I've been trying to find one that compares but not one has come close, so glad they're open again
