My son attended Victory Elementary during his K-5 grades, he is wrapping up his last year during COVID-19. This is an EXCELLENT school! I have seen it go through many changes with leadership and school district boundary changes. Mr. Chad Wray became its Principal during the 2016-17 school year with Mrs. Patricia Koscinski as the Assistant Principal. They have worked tirelessly to bring Victory back to its glory days, having surpassed the former level and are in the midst of creating its own reputation of a standard of excellence for Victory Elementary. In addition, Mr. Wray is a northern VA native so he knows the area well and his fellow county administrators. He knows the children (and parents) by name, his staff 'thoroughly enjoy working with him', and there is little to no turnover of teachers, unless for personal reasons (e.g. a move). I am truly impressed by how he manages Victory and its students. The teachers and staff are very invested in the children and the PTO (volunteers) are exceptional! The Victory Lakes community rally the school and the children, just come to one of its school performances, festivals, fundraisers, etc., and you'll see for yourself the joy and value that exists here. Victory Elementary has received various awards including the most recent 2018-2019 School of Excellence Award. The administration encourages learning excellence at all age levels, provides attentive services for children with disabilities and works closely with gifted children through the START and Signet programs. My son has excelled because of the dedication of teachers, the administration staff and the volunteers at Victory Elementary. I emphatically recommended sending your children to Victory Elementary.

As a mother of a special needs child and requiring multiple IEP meetings per year, we can't say enough about the teachers and staff of Victory Elementary! After a very stressful move across the country, we weren't sure about how school was going to go (our daughter was going to start kindergarten) and we were very pleasantly surprised at how accommodating and kind everyone was for the extended process of getting her settled with access to all the services she needed. I'm just as excited as she is for the next school year!

Moving from out of state to this school I am so happy with Victory. Teachers are very nice and have a great style teaching so that the kids enjoy and understand what they are learning. There is a website that keeps you update on all activites and access to class agendas. They get a 5.

Worst school ever! Vice principal is rude and harsh. I am so excited that my child will not be going there next year. Teachers and Administrators seem to just push kids through to the next grade. Not helpful at all in helping kids with special needs. I have never in my life been more disappointed in a school than Victory.
