I like Dollar General, great selection and fair prices. I love their seasonal items the most, I always get the cutest items for way less than elsewhere! What I dislike... SO CRAMPED! Why is there only like 3' space in the aisles, the ceilings low, and the lighting poor? Even brand new construction stores are like that. If the staff is stocking shelves, you're not getting through. It's difficult to social distance in such a small space, and it gives the impression of messy & dirty even if it's not. No, it doesn't & won't stop me from shopping there, but I would probably shop there more often if it wasn't so claustrophobic and dark. DG... do us all a favor and rethink your store plan. Make new construction stores a little larger to accommodate wider aisles... and in both new and current stores... higher ceilings and better lighting would go a long way in making your customers feel more comfortable in your stores. They'd probably shop longer and spend more. I know I would.

Teresa the employee helped me and I heard helping others as well, to use the online coupons and all the features. While she assisted customers like with the online app she was still able to efficiently help other customers, check them out, whatever needed to be done. She's a great employee!!!! I was also impressed by how well the store was stocked and how clean it was!!!!!

Eh, DG always depends on location. I have not once been in this store without stock being in the middle/blocking every other aisle. Usually things are more difficult to find as they change the stores layout around, A LOT. Customer service is friendly and usually attentive.
