Excellent selection of many electrical products and parts. Some items are reasonably priced whilst some are over priced. Apart from the usual things, it also stocks gadgets and many items that some would refer to as 'boys toys'.

I've been shopping at Maplin stores for years since they sell stuff you just can't get anywhere else. I brought lots of Christmas presents at the Bromley store and I'm very happy with the service and the prices. Since the new manager joined 9 months ago the staff knowledge has improved greatly and the whole shopping experience is much better.

The guy behind the till asked me how excited I was on a scale of 1 to 10 about their new contactless machines. Honesty what a weird bloke. Surprised that guy keeps his job!
It's my favourite shop, but it could do with more staff training. If you're lucky, you[ll get a good guy, but there's nothing worse than someone who just reads the shelf tickets to you - I can do that myself! :-)
