I attended the Back to Work course. It was the first course I attended after deciding to get back in to the work force after ten years of being a stay at home mum. I was lacking confidence, recent work experience and an up to date CV. The whole experience was life changing. I met like-minded people and the tutor was so patient and reassuring. I was definitely in the right place. After a few weeks I’d made new friends, had new found confidence and the tools to help me get back to work. It was the jump start I needed to get me back on track with my career and rediscover the old me before I became a mum. I highly recommend all of the courses that Successful Mums offer, as they really add confidence and value. I owe them a lot!

Great organisation. Wonderful team who really care about helping mums get back into work. I attended a 'Back to Work' course and it gave me that confidence needed to get back into the workplace. I am hugely grateful to Jane and her fantastic team for all their help and support in my journey returning back to work. I am just coming towards the end of the 6 week L2 'Digital marketing for business' course with Successful Mums. The course is absolutely perfect for me as a new independent craft business, trying to navigate and understand the minefield of social media and how to best use it to promote my business . At Successful Mums the staff and trainers have been very professional, friendly and helpful throughout. The course is delivered extremely professionally and is very easy to access, course material is detailed and informative. Help and advice is always available from Caroline, the course trainer and the community of other women who are also attending the course. Iv found the course content and program of study really helpful and interesting, it has enabled me to better understand digital marketing and how I can use this to improve my online presence to hopefully achieve more recognition and sales. Successful Mums is an amazing company founded by Jane Knight to help other women in business. Courses are structured to meet many needs to help women return to working life and start their own business. I feel like Iv learnt so much in just 5 weeks...… Iv now got to work at putting all these new knowledge into action ! However Successful Mums ensures us that they will continue help and support us even after the courses finishes. Highly recommend .
Such a rewarding course, with like-minded and supportive people and a trainer who made us feel at ease from day 1. I definitely recommend anyone who has had a career break, and is looking to get back to work to sign-up.
I cannot rate Successful Mums Career Academy highly enough. I have taken two different courses with SM (Return to Work, and a Business Start Up course) and got to know Founder, Jane Knight, personally. Jane is really inspirational, hardworking and fun. The care she has for the women she serves is truly admirable. What you can expect from SMCA are very well structured courses, with highly qualified friendly trainers and coaches who only want the best for you. The courses are free, and in some ways that can put people off because you may think you're going to get something below par but that's honestly not the case, the training is fantastic and they work very hard to gain funding to help as many women as possible. It's what Jane is all about, helping women find their 'mojo' again, wearing their crown and standing tall ready to take on the next life challenge that is realistic and works around family life. If like me you've found yourself lost, lacking confidence, not knowing where to start, or having a glimmer of a business idea and want to turn it into reality you couldn't be in better hands. The team really care about you, will help guide you, find you mentors, help you find that job that works for you, but ultimately you'll come away brimming with confidence, benefitting from new found skills (including much needed digital skills as we've seen this last year), having a new group of friends, making new connections, and a new career to be hopeful about. If you're ready to invest some time for you (and hey why not, you're so worth it), then you couldn't be in better hands. x

I completed the Business Start Up and Digital Skills course with Successful Mums in March 2020. Not only did I learn a lot, it allowed me to consolidate what I did know in a friendly and supportive environment. My trainer helped build my confidence to do what I wanted and the course was the springboard I needed to start my business. The network of friends I have made is incredible, they are still supportive; and Jane Knight (who founded Successful Mums) is an inspirational leader. Hands on and truly passionate in helping people achieve their goals, she has continued to support me on a personal level. I will forever be grateful, thank you!
I completed the Social Media and Digital skills over the lockdown period and even though it was delivered remotely, the trainer did an amazing job and was incredibly supportive. I gained a qualification, skills to push my business forward, confidence and an incredible network of women that I remain in contact with now many months later. I cannot recommend this course or successful mum's enough!
