Womrath Bookshop is a true treasure for Bronxville and a great bookstore as well as a toy store and a card shop too! They have an impressive selection of reference books as well as a wonderful selection of all kinds of books that are clearly labeled: biographies, poetry, cookbooks, fiction etc. the staff is very helpful and they are strictly limiting 10 customers in the store at any one time. It’s a surprisingly spacious store and worth visiting!

It was a nice, welcoming and warm atmosphere, being surrounded by books and comfort armchairs. I found some secondhand books in the store worth 1-2 and that was a great treasure :)

I needed to kill sometime in the area and decided to check out this bookstore. They have an awesome section towards the back called "NY & Turn Left Coast". All the books here are about NY, The Bay Area and it's history, opinions, areas to hik, etc. Loving it as it gives me some inspiration as to where to take nice photos plus I learn interesting facts and history from any the books there.

I love this book shop! They have a wonderful variety of books and if they don't have what you're looking for, they'll order it for you. The staff is so friendly and helpful. Wonderful place that has been here for as long as I can remember.

Its day in the blazing glare of the sun was during the Beat Generation era. Ferlinghetti & Womrath published Howl & Other Poems which was rather radical for its time by Allen Ginsberg in 1955. It also publishes selected titles related to NY culture. It now is an official historic land mark.

I called the shop to virtually pick out a birthday gift for a 2 yo. The owner was very patient and spent 40 minutes explaining all the fun books, toys, and activities in stock. Afterwards, he hand delivered the gift that day, even though it was slightly out of delivery range. Great selection and great service!

I moved here from out of state and found this store as my daughter is at Sarah Lawrence College - what a treat! What they don’t have in stock they will order and ship to your home in short order. This is my GoTo bookseller now as I fill in all those titles I don’t have in my library and to get my daughter’s books for school.

This is a treasure finding space. The owner, Tom, is a pleasure to talk to. He recommended unique titles to give to friends for their birthday. His store has books from centuries ago, books that you could probably only see behind many doors in incredible libraries. Located in Hastings on Hudson, in a movie scene storefront, with views to the river. Greatly recommended! Bravo!
