The space is gorgeous and historical, the community is modern, vibrant, welcoming, diverse, and alive. So much more than Sunday morning services, this place is buzzing all week long with meditation and yoga, book group and knitting circle, social action and small group.

Awesome experience, great people, important message. Church is beautiful, parking can be tough but street parking is an option.

I stumbled into \First P\ 20 years ago not knowing what Unitarian Universalists were - I just wanted to see the old stone building and its stained glass windows from the inside. The minister at the time, Rev. David Johnson, was celebrating his 25th anniversary of being ordained. His memories included a deeply spiritual, mystical experience on a hill in the Midwest, marching in Selma, Alabama, and fighting for abortion rights. I couldn't believe I was sitting in a church. I was hooked. Today the church is more alive than ever, chock full of great sermons, educational opportunities for all ages, support networks; lovely, genuine people; great leaders meeting great challenges, and good times. Stop in sometime.
