Pies 'n' Thighs is a quirky restaurant specializing in baked goods and comfort foods from the South, California, and Mexico. This little diner's fun personality is obvious from the name of the restaurant down to the decor. Makes great food from a variety of influences, and spends just as much time and effort on its baked goods as it does the hot dinners. It’s been highly touted, winning Best Donut and Best Biscuits from New York by New York and Best Apple Pie and Best Fried Chicken in national surveys by Food & Wine and Bon Appetit.

There's no way to go wrong on the Pies 'n' Thighs menu, but new guests should try the chicken and waffles to get a sample of something both sweet and savory. Diners also can't leave without a dessert, whether it be the apple pie, banana cream pie or s'mores pie.

We love Pies n Thighs and used to come here so often every winter for a warm slice of apple pie. I don’t know why but the last time we order a pickup for 2 slices we received a smaller piece then we used to. The pies are great in their flavors but to pay 7.50 for a smaller slice is a bit disappointing. But again, flavor is great!

The pies are delicious and fried chicken with waffles are very good too! Suggest going on a warmer day, they have outdoor dining but no heater, and the tables are first come first serve!

Ordered the chicken and waffles. Chicken was alright, not that much flavor, a little salty. It wasn't even warm.... the waffle was okay as well. At least it was warm, the apple cinnamon really saved it. Chicken was dry, skin was crispy. Honestly came here for the doughnuts, not the glazed one. Would recommend the doughnuts not the chicken.

I will never ever forget this place as long as I live. I went here years ago and it was my first and last time there. But the memory of it was so bad I still remember the taste. The two stars is because the woman that brought my food was friendly and the place was clean. However that's probably because I was the only person in there. I ordered the chicken and waffles and I do believe this is the worst meal I have ever had. The waffle was ice cold and the chicken tasted like it was dropped in old grease that wasn't hot enough yet. I vividly remember it was extremely greasy biting into it and it has a funny after taste. I'm not sure how I got that kind of food when I was the only person in the place that day. Obviously other people had better experiences but this was mine. Maybe I went when there was a different cook but it was bad enough for me to always remember that taste and experience. Also I feel like if you're from the south and you're craving chicken and waffles this is definitely not the place to go to get that fix. I'd recommend Sweet Chick.

I wish I had tried this place sooner! Excellent comfort food. The biscuits and gravy, with a side of fried chicken filet is really good.
