I'm a postmate and doordash delivery courier. This place was booming (music). All staff had masks on. It smelled amazing in this place. The woman at the front was nice and helpful. I liked her accent.

Our dinner was delicious!! All of the things we got were incredibly flavorful and we would definitely get them again. The appetizer special of the night was grilled octopus (pictured). They have set up a cute outdoor seating area.

Picked up pernil with yucca last night and loved it so much I picked it up again tonight. Red beans and coconut flan also rock. Generous portions of fresh, flavorful food. Friendly staff. They have a couple of heated tables outside right now too.

My absolute favorite restaurant. This family owned restaurant provides authentic and quality Dominican cuisine. Each of employees are kind and attentive. Puerto Viejo is my number one place to take any friends or Brooklyn visitors. Every dish is full of flavor and never disappoints! If you are dining in or ordering take out, you should know they are a cash only restaurant. However, there is an ATM located in the restaurant.
