This is the worst special needs school.i have ever had the pleasure of dealing with, my son was builled by pupils and staff, ridiculed by staff, there is a total lack of support, bad communication, even when he was not there and they were ment to support him from home it was constant let downs and not turning up, thanks to the school making my son feel suicidal he has missed over a year of education and been continuously let down and lied to.

I liked Broomhill Bank School because we got to do lots of fun activities that many other secondary schools might not do like theme days and McDuck day! The staff were very helpful and kind too. My favourite lesson was Science which I had not liked at primary school but they made it extremely fun at Broomhill Bank, I also enjoyed English, Maths and work experience , P.E, Independence training, the only thing I did not like was dance and I wished we done History even if it was a History Theme Day and not a lesson! I also liked making things for Christmas in the Sixteen Plus, later The Further Education Department (FED) Sadly they don't have it any more but I really enjoyed boarding and Arches Club! Jessica

AS THE PARENT OF ONE OF THE PUPILS THAT ATTENDS BROOMHILL BANK SCHOOL IAM TOTALLY DISAPPOINTED AND DISGUSTED WITH THE ATTITUDE AND THE VICTIMISATION MY SON RECEIVES FROM SOME OF THE TEACHERS THERE.AFTER BEING BULLIED BY ANOTHER PUPIL FOR MONTHS WITH THE TEACHERS IN QUESTION TURNING A BLIND EYE.MY SON RETALIATED AFTER YET ANOTHER ATTACK BY THIS PUPIL ONLY FOR HIM TO BE SUSPENDED AND NO ACTION BEING TAKEN ON HIS ATTACKER.NOW MY SON HAS RETURNED TO SCHOOL THE TEACHERS HAVE DECIDED TO CONTACT THE PARENTS OF THE FEW FRIENDS MY SON DOES HAVE ADVISING THEM NOT TO HAVE ANY CONTACT WITH MY SON AT SCHOOL.WHILE THE PUPIL THAT HAS BEEN BULLYING HIM.STILL TAUNTS HIM.THIS SCHOOL IS SUPPOSED TO BE A SPECIAL NEEDS SCHOOL.I WOULD EXPECT MY SON TO BE TREATED FAIRLY.I WILL BE TAKING THIS MATTER FURTHER.MY ADVICE TO ANY PARENTS THINKING OF SENDING THERE CHILD TO BROOMHILL BANK SCHOOL IS DON,T.I EXPECT MY SON TO BE IN A SAFE ENVIRONMENT WHEN HE IS AT SCHOOL AND NOT TO BE BULLIED AND VICTIMISED.IN MY MIND THE TEACHERS IN QUESTION ARE NO BETTER THAN THE BULLY WHOM SEEMS TO BE ALLOWED TO GET AWAY WITH THIS.ILL BE LOOKING TO RE-LOCATE MY SON TO A MORE SUITABLE SCHOOL IN THE VERY NEAR FUTURE
