New ownership has improved the staff friendliness. Prices have increased somewhat - 37 is overpriced for what I played yesterday. (guest rate 30) The course does not stand up to wet weather. If they wish to charge this price I suggest they invest in a lot of drainage. But in its favour, the greens are very good (even though they have the perennial problem of people not bothering to repair pitch marks). Possibly return after a dry spell.

The Bobster

I visited as a guest of a member, costs around 35 midweek. Good course, I found some of the holes a bit of a challenge and not playing my best golf I didn't score particularly well, but that's not the course's fault and I intend to get myself reinvited, next time I'll bring my A game. Nice building, just had a drink outside so can't say much more about it. Well stocked pro shop. Everyone really friendly.

Played a few rounds this year - challenging course which is well cared for. Friendly staff. The driving range is very pricey but the ball tracker technology keeps it interesting. The club house was under covid restrictions so I didn’t get a good look around but looked, well, stately. Will definitely be back.

Great day for golf, after the hotter that usual summer, the course wasn't that bad to be fair, a couple of the fairways were below standard but on the whole great day!!
