Huge dovecote with great views over Bruton. Originally thought to be a 16th century watch tower.

Lovely spot with parking, worth the hill climb to see if
Free to visit and stunning views back over Bruton and the surrounding countryside. Various way to access some steep. The path from near the Bruton rail station is a nice one.
This can be just as well enjoyed from a distance as up close. If you do make the trip, access was via the carpark next to the playground. It was a short walk involving a style and step uneven slope. The interior was full of broken glass, and up close it kind of loses sooner of its mystery. But it was interesting nonetheless.
New off road free car parking, good views towards Bruton. Nice place to view a little history.
