I am from the Seattle area,and in the area on business.A group of us was taken here by a local,and we were not disappointed!!! We all had the pork loin sandwich (a Iowa staple). Four of us had it deep fried. IT WAS BEYOND GOOD! Great flavor and a huge portion! The place is nice and clean on the inside,and outstanding service! If I am ever back in the area again I will stop here for sure! If you are reading this I suggest that you take the time to dine here !!!
Food is always good with sandwich rolls, burgers and specials. No disappointments there. They never seem to have coffee, not sure why. It's there, but not made. Only iced tea, no hot tea. It's a quiet, cozy atmosphere with usually good service. They do have have a decent bar. Would gladly give 5 stars if service was more attentive (too long a wait for the bill on a slow day), and if they would add some simple touches expected at a mid-range, diner/grill type of restaurant. Will definitely be going back. Worth it for the food.
The sirloin special was done well. Tasty and the potato was great too.
Great food was really impressed with the chicken and fries.
