Charming restaurant with a terrace right in front of the pier. The dishes are simply delicious and the service is outstanding. There are several different starters (fish soup, mussels, fish, salads) and main dishes may include catfish, salmon, trout, beef or chicken burgers, whale (yes, whale!), fish and chips, shrimp sandwich, etc. Prices are in the range of any other Norwegian restaurant but I can tell you it is really delicious here ! We paid less than 1100 NOK for two starters, two main dishes, two desserts and a soft drink. I would definitely recommend this restaurant! Pictures: Fish soup, pickled herring, catfish and veggies, shrimp sandwich, rhubarb dessert and apple pie.

This was one of our best meals ever, the only minus was that the potatoes was to hard. We had Lutfisk and the catch of the day. Highly recommended.

Very nice place with a lovely atmosphere and good food. The prices are a little bit steep, but the nice service and the food makes it well worth it! Recommended!

Friendly staff, good quality food and decent portion size. Price is fair compared to some of the other in the area. 2nd best behind the fish market across the bay, but more cozy and romantic.

One of the restaurants in Bergen you must visit when you’re here. Fresh and tasty sea food, delicious local dishes. The staff was professional and so kind! They were really nice to us, even when I complained that my mountain trout is overcooked, the waiter apologized many times, got a new portion made for me for free ( he brought a double portion!) and then came to ask if it was better (and yes, it def was). Side dishes were also very good. The interior is just a bit overstuffed and makes you feel a little claustrofobic. It is still worth a visit and when we’re back to Bergen, we’re also back to this amazing restaurant! Thank you for having us.
