Visited on Tuesday 8pm. Not too packed. Great place for Pork bone stew, but not my togo place, there are better places. I came here to check out their stew and their FREE Bossam (boiled sliced pork, free if you pay cash). The stew is flavorful, a bit heavy in taste and grease, but not too bad in overall taste. The only downside is that the pork bones lack meat, plenty of bones but not much meat. We ordered a stew for 2 and the amount is generous (3 people would be appropriate). Service in general is okay, very busy so it is expected. Some similar places, they help you stir and cook your stew, but this one not much (at least for my table, but not a big deal). Location: as expected this is K-town, it is packed, and hard to find parking. Must do Valet parking. Cleanliness: it could be better. Floor a bit slippery, restroom unchecked (so by the end of the day may be a bit dirty), restroom trashbin overflowing with good stuff.
The food here is very good. Gamjatang has a lot of meat and the stew is very rich. Ordered the kimchi pancake too, asked for crispy, and it came out to perfection. Its really thick and massive too. Like others have said, pay with cash and get free bossom. Overall, highly recommended. Ate so much that we never even got to the fried rice at the end
Best bibimbop ever!!! Highly recommend it. Friendly staff. Great atmosphere. The stews looks amazing. Portions are very generous...make sure you arrive with an appetite!!!!
