Went to that place last year, it was difficult to schedule appointment at that time. Receptionists is horrible, have problem with hearing. Hate to said that, but old people feel to comfortable and taking that job for granted. About 2 months ago office call me and tell me I missed appointment. I never scheduled another appointment, but they are insist I did. Now I received a no show bill for 50. I am just curious if it was a mistake or doctor need money so much? If he needs money so bad I recommend \ Go find me\ website or work harder or clean up office from useless people. Shame.

If I could could give a 0, I would give the Dr a 0!!!!! I didn’t appreciate her bed side manor and her professionalism. I was in the office for hives and I specifically told her that I get them when I’m stressed and I take medication for some mental disorders I have. She started talking negatively about my psychiatric nurse practitioner and asked if she called herself a doctor. I told her no she doesn’t and her exact response was “I hate when they do that”. She even asked why I see a NP instead of a psychiatrist for my care. These questions had nothing to do with the purpose I was coming in for. She did order the allergy test and everything came back negative. She came back in and gave instructions on what I should and should not do. She then went back to talking negatively about my NP and how she has me on too much medicine and seems she can’t get anything right. I’m trying to figure out if her speciality is in psychiatry or asthma and allergy. If she knew anything about psychiatry, medicine doesn’t eliminate everything, that’s why I have to see a therapist once a week in which I do. When she went over everything she wanted me to read the instructions backs as if I’m illiterate. I have 2 Master’s degree and I do not need to have a check for understanding session. I am a African American woman and I do not want to make it into a race issue, however approach made it seem that I was black female who is uneducated. She also instructed me to take a food journal when I get the hives, but why would I do that if I didn’t have any reactions to the food test. I will never go back again. Dr. Spritzer is unprofessional and should attend some conferences and workshops on her professionalism and cultural awareness.

Horrible experience with this office. I cannot comment on Dr. Spitzer as I did not see him however he should get a better handle on what is going on at his office if he isn't aware! I was referred to this office by my GP and saw Dr. Karin Flynn-Rodden for chronic hives who was ok but not warm or overly friendly. At the end of my visit I walked away with instructions to get bloodwork done and take OTC meds and a follow up appt for over a month later. Bloodwork was done that day... Two weeks after my visit the hives were worse than before, I had never heard back on any of the bloodwork results and I was leaving for vacation a few weeks later. I tried for over 2 weeks to contact someone at the office to speak to the doctor to see if there was anything else i could try prior to my vacation or make another appointment if they had to see me and was never contacted back. I left 7 messages and also sent emails through their on line Contact us form- NO RESPONSE! I just tried again today almost a month after my initial visit and the phone number for the office STILL says the office is closed even though it's normal business hours according to their website. This is what happened before, you either get the closed message OR get put into a prompt loop where you can't reach anyone. I just want to cancel my follow up appointment at this point, I would NEVER go back to this practice. I would caution anyone who is looking for an allergist. Go to another office, save yourself the trouble and headache! I have also let my GP know to NOT recommend them to anyone moving forward.

The best allergist I've had. Really understands all the problems allergies and asthma cause, including to quality of life. He spends time and listens to his patients.
