My family and I have been going to Buck Family Eye Care now for a few years and have had a great experience. This is one of the first eye care centers I have been to where the doctor doesn't just diagnose your vision and provide correction but there is comprehensive approach to eye health. Dr. Thomas is very thorough, clear and makes time to address all of our concerns. I highly recommend this practice and this doctor.

The doctor is excellent here. His exams are thorough and he will take care of all your vision needs. They also did a great job getting me started with contact lenses. I recently did not use insurance to get new lenses for my glasses because insurance won't cover both lenses and contacts. By not using insurance my glasses were ready in about a week and the lenses were way better than normal. If you can afford it, I highly recommend not having insurance make your lenses and either just pay out of pocket or get reimbursed so you can have the doctor take care of the lenses.

Hands down the best specialist I have ever been to. I saw Dr. Thomas after bouncing around from one horrible optometrist to another. I was used to machinery old than me, half-answered questions, and doctors using their own fingers to get the contacts out of their packaging. Then I came here and all of that changed. Dr. Thomas has been nothing but professional and polite. He answers all of my questions in enough detail to satisfy my curiosity and in layman's terms so I understand everything. The equipment he uses is modern and I know I am in safe hands, I did have an issue with staff calling me to let me know my glasses had arrived, but the confidence I have in the doctor is more than enough to overlook that. HIGHLY recommended.

This place is HORRIBLE. I only went here because my insurance no longer covered my usual place and this was close to home. First, I walked in and there was NO receptionist at the desk but I could hear voices in what I'm assuming is a backroom talking and laughing and it took her about ten minutes to finally come out. When I finally went in I felt frustrated my entire visit because I could not see a damn thing the whole time which I expressed to the doctor and he just told me to try my best (believe me when I say everything looked the same I didn't even know what to guess). Little did I know, that was the least of my problems. After my visit the lady at the desk was very rude. She started rambling on about all these charges and I wasn't seeming to understand where they were coming from and I could tell she was extremely frustrated while trying to explain it to me. Then it took WEEKS for me to get a hold of them trying to find out if my contacts have come in. I called and called, I left messages, I even EMAILED them and heard NOTHING. My insurance company even called a couple of times and heard nothing. Ive never heard of a doctors office not being the ones to call you. Heck, my normal doctor and dentist call me just to remind me I have an appointment! I will not be returning here once I need a new prescription.

This doctor and staff are excellent. The doctor spoke honestly, thoroughly explained prices, eye care and the receptionist was kind and quick to answer questions. Definitely worth the visit.

I have been going to Bucks Family Eye Care since my wife and I moved to the area in 2006. Doctor Thomas had identified a growing problem concerning my vision, my troublesome glaucoma and has helped me keep it in check by eye drops and regular visits. When I needed reading glasses, the good doctor and the receptionist help me pick out some heavy duty frames. They really look cool. Later on, Dr. Thomas identified a problem with my vision and let me know I had a cataract in my left eye and kept a close watch on it. Late last year Dr. Thomas realized they my glaucoma couldn't be handled by the eye drops any longer and the cataract in my left eye needed to be removed. He referred me to s group of eye surgeons that not replaced my defective lens but put a small stent in my eye to relieve the pressure from the glaucoma. I am convinced that due to his skill and caring for his patients, I have my eyesight and I don't have to worry with losing my sight any more. I highly recommend Bucks County Eye Care not only your eyeglasses, but all your eye care needs.
