I had an appointment here because I’m producing a really bad cough for weeks. I was prescribed antibiotics, however I had a question about the antibiotics after I saw them at the pharmacy as they are listed on several websites as to use only if no other medicine is available. The hospital has been contacted several times by phone and email and want me to wait a week while they look in to the matter! I’m very ill right not and they couldn’t care less, they don’t call you back as promised and don’t reply further to emails apart from the original response of just wait. So go here as long as you don’t have any questions after.

A really good hospital. Dr. Hegedűs Zsolt is one of the best Orthopedic surgeons to go to. He specializes in hip and knee treatments, but he is also best in this hospital. The physiotherapy is also the best you can find. It does cost money to come here but it is definitely worth it!

My wrist/ knee injuries were misdiagnosed. Now that 1/2 year has passed and my treatment at ANOTHER CLINIC was successful I am pretty certain I wouldn’t have my state of health worsened if were treated in time. At the end over 300 were wasted for nothing. Besides that doctors had very poor knowledge of English and were arrogant.

I think this is the best hospital in Budapest for non-ER and non-cancerous patients

I had only one experience but it was impressive. I didn't wait even for a minute, almost everybody was speaking English and helpful. Doctor speaks with fluent English as well. Clean, nice environment. It seems they have up-to-date equipments and experienced staff. Altogethar a rare experience in Budapest. Only down size if you don't have a private insurance it could be a bit expensive.

They simply almost killed my father during a routine surgery by being total negligent. Surgery was performed by Dr. Peter Sipos. Avoid him at all costs. My father had to have two emergency follow up surgeries to avoid full blown sepsis. There is also a pediatric ENT doctor named Dr. Gabor Katona. He diagnosed my son at Heim Pal Children hospital as having an incurable hearing nerve damage. Basically, who will never hear. He gave him a strong hearing aid to wear for the rest of his life. Dr. Katona totally messed it up as my son had fluids in his ears and only needed tubes to clear the fluid. He was correctly diagnosed at another hospital and after over 10 years my son lives happyly never ever wearing a hearing aid. That is the work of Dr. Katona. Duna Medical Center should seriously give a thought who it is employing!
