A traditional and friendly restaurant off the main streets of Budapest. Been to a few good restaurant but this is one of my favourites. The food feels homemade and so much flavour. It lacks a little presentation but I think that’s what makes this place feel more traditional and like home. Highly recommend!

One of the oldest dineouts in Budapest. A few Hungarian delicacies you have to try here. Foods are really tasty and filling. What I personally feel the owners of the place can think of changing the inside setups more coolly, just like, wiping out the table sheets and keeping the naked wooden tables instead. Behavior of the staff was good too. Nice job.

Good beer and strapačka! Nothing more you can wish.

Well worth it. Found this place through Trip Advisor and I would recommend a visit. I had the goulash which was surprisingly yummy. It had a subtly spicy flavour to it. I then had the duck confit which had a crispy skin, tender meat and delicious braised cabbage slices to go along with it. Straight forward yet tasty. The beer is good too! Very convenient location and quiet which is good if you don't like crowds.

Ordered Hungarian dishes... tasted pretty good but was too less salty. Dinner for 2, just main course would cost around 5500 Huf. Nice interiors and good service.

The food tasted amazing, the lady who served us was really nice and everything was reasonably priced. The menu comes in many different languages too, which helps a lot when you don't understand a word of hungarian. Definitely an experience to repeat again.
